Webinar: Participation and Quality of Life (PAR-QoL)
Last Thursday (November 12th), three members of the PAR-QoL team, Drs. Sander Hitzig, Krista Best and Dahlia Kairy, presented a webinar on the PAR-QoL Tool-Kit to many clinicians and researchers coming from Canada and United States.
The PAR-QoL Tool-Kit is an educational resource for SCI clinicians and researchers and the PAR-QoL website provides information about outcome tool selection specific to quality of life and spinal cord injury, specifically considering secondary health conditions and community integration.
The webinar aimed to:
- Explain theoretical and psychometric considerations related to QoL outcome tool selection in SCI
- Describe available resources to support tool selection
- Demonstrate navigation of the website to obtain information pertinent to clinical practice
- Provide real-world case-examples in the application of ParQoL
