International Prostate Symptom Score-QoL index (IPSS-QoL)
Description: The IPSS-QoL is a tool to assess frequency of symptoms of urinary problems and associated QoL.
Format: 8-item tool.
Scoring: 7 items rate frequency of symptoms on a scale ranging from 0 (not at all) to 5 (almost always). Score range from 0 to 35, with higher scores indicating higher frequency of urinary problems. 1 item rates QoL (feelings if current symptoms lasted for life) on a scale ranging from 0 (delighted) to 6 (terrible).
Administration and Burden: Self-administered. Approximately 8 minutes.
